Consultation Services

Consultation is the key to good practice and an excellent marketing tool. I invite you to join us or pass this on to a therapist you know that would be interested.

• Private Practice Consult Group — Meeting monthly, this consult group focuses on marketing one's practice and case consultation. Best fit: a San Mateo area therapist for local referrals. Usually meets first Friday of the month (exceptions for holidays & summer), one-year commitment after free first visit. $50 session.

• NEW — Therapist Mommies Consult Group — Group forming for women therapists trying to juggle young children and a career. Same format as the traditional private practice consult group, with a special emphasis on balancing home life & your practice. Non-crawling babies welcome — for therapists with children under five years old.

Mary Deger Seevers, M.A., MFT, established the original Newly Licensed Support Group for SCV-CAMFT and led the SCV-CAMFT North Region Prelicensed Support Group from 1999-2007. Mary has been a CAMFT Certified Supervisor since 2005. She is well known for her networking, small business, and paperwork skills.
